Kirsie's Bridal session

Kirsie looked really stunning for her Bridal session. We had a great time and got some really beautiful photos. Kirsie is really fun, and Im looking forward to doing her and Zack's Wedding soon.

Shannon and Beau's Engagement

I have been getting such a great response from the photo of Shannon and Beau on the front page of my website. No I don't think I will be marketing it to Coca Cola any time soon:) They are a really fun couple, and just a treat to work with. They got a hold of the old Studebaker and it went really well with their style. I am really stoked with how the photos turned out, and I cant wait to do their wedding in a few months.

Jersey and the Fam

Little Jersey is two years old, and is just the cutest little girl. The shoot was concentrated mostly around her, but we did a few family shots as well. We had a really great time, and I am really stoked with what we came up with.

Tianna and Beau's Bridal

Tianna and Beau had a great engagement session a wile back, and I really enjoyed getting to work with them again. They are a really fun and comfortable couple. I really look forward to their wedding soon.

Wendy and Jacob's Engagement Session

Wendy and Jacob are a really great couple. They both live in Las Vegas, and don't mind traveling to get what they want out of their photographer. I will be doing their Wedding in San Diego next month, and am pretty stoked. They are both really natural in front of the camera, and are really fun to work with. Nothing makes a session go better then a couple that can really be themselves. I love doing engagement sessions, partly because couples are so in love, but also because they can just be natural. I think the one qualm I might get in general with engagements, is that couples have too many good photos, and don't like that they only get to send out one or two in an invitation. Yeah... life's tough.

Watermelon at the pool

My favorite photo of myself when I was a kid was one of me eating watermelon. These might not be my favorites of Garrett and Gavin, but they had a great day at the grandparents pool, and as you can tell by the mess on their faces really enjoyed the watermelon. I always try to keep a camera with me for moments like these. Although I love the artistic element of photography, a good old snapshot to remember a moment for ever is what really brought me into this profession.

Erin's Bridal Session

Erin decided to do here Bridal session at the St. George Temple. There has been some construction going on with the landscaping, so we made some use of the yellow tape. We had a great time and got really great shots.

Whitney and Shae's Bridal Session

Whitney and shae are a really fun couple. We started their shoot at the temple, and moved on from there. It was a windy day, but they toughed through it. Over all we got tons of great shots. I really like the way the shot on the steps turned out.

Laura and Jake's Engagement

Laura and Jake are a really fun couple. I had a great time doing their engagement session, and look forward to working more with them in the future.

Crash Encore in Concert

I was asked by Crash Encore to come and photograph their concert. They are an up and coming band from southern California with a ton of talent, and really great music. You can check out their music by clicking on the photo above.

Ashley and Jeremy are San Diego locals. The had me come down for their wedding at the San Diego temple. After the temple we went around Encinitas and then to the reception in Poway. I did family photos for Ashley's family about a year ago. They are such a great family. It was great getting to work with all of them again.

A day at the Wild Animal Park

My boys Garrett and Gavin are just getting old enough to enjoy animals. We had a great day with them at the wild animal park. They had the most fun at the petting zoo with the African deer. Garrett is on the left, my wife Lauren in the center, and Gavin on the right. I am a lucky guy to have such a fantastic family.

Amy's Maternity Photos

Amy was about 8 months along when we did this shoot. She really wanted to do something different. Most Maternity shoots end up being indoors, but I really loved the natural light shoot we did for this one. Over all the shots were really fun, and so was Amy. Congratulations to her on the baby!

New Gideon Photography Blog

For those of you who visit my blog you will notice that it is totally revamped and more user friendly. I will also be updating it much more frequently. Sandy and Colby's Bridals

Their engagement shoot was a blast... and well I guess in a way this one was too. In part due to the really strong wind... but more so because Sandy and Colby are a really fun couple. I look forward to their wedding day in October.

Kristine's family reunion

Kristine lives here in St. George, but her family lives all around Utah. They had a family reunion before their father and brother had to go off to Iraq. I'm so grateful for our service men and women. More of their Family photo session can be viewed by clicking on the top photo.

Kenzi and Matts Wedding day

Kenzi and Matt are always great to work with. Kenzi even sang Matt a song she wrote.Their wedding day was a lot of fun. They are a great couple, and I wish them the best of luck.

Melissa's Bridals

Melissa's grandfather was a photographer, so she really knew what she did and didn't like. She wanted to have a lot of fun with her photos, and get some creative shots. I think we had lots of both.
